Micah McKee (she/her) is a New York-based dancer, performer, and educator. She earned her B.F.A. from George Mason University School of Dance studying under esteemed faculty members Roger Jeffrey, Christina Robson, Susan Shields, and more. Her training includes Limón, Horton, Graham, Bartenieff Fundamentals, and Paul Taylor Technique. McKee was honored with the Kevin Campbell Scholarship during her time and was selected to perform Robert Battle’s Awakening under the direction of Elisa Clark.

Originally from Tennessee, McKee has foundational training in classical ballet, pointe variations, contemporary, jazz, tap, and Horton technique. She has furthered her training at prestigious intensives such as Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Orsolina28 Nunes/Flock, RUBBERBAND, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, and the Bates Dance Festival. Additionally, she has expanded her artistic range through workshops with acclaimed artists like Thryn Saxon, Micaela Taylor, Joy Davis, and New Dialect.

McKee’s dance career began as a company member with Gin Dance in Washington D.C. performing dynamic contemporary ballet repertoire. Since moving to New York, McKee has joined Forza Dance Company performing contemporary works by Michaela Barron as well as CRDance Company performing rigorous, Graham-based repertoire choreographed by Artistic Director, Caterina Rago. McKee will also be featured as a lead guest artist in the role of Alice with GO! Contemporary Dance Works massive production, ALICE: A Revolutionary Ballet
